Hmmm with this method I might actaully be able to play SCCT, but naaaaah.. I just go play the xbox version instead...

But this was really needed, to get a light and fun view of the whole SF things going around these days.

hm, i just saw that the thread hit more than 10000 klicks. quiet a lot. do you think there is a guy who really tried one of the solutions posted here?
i mean, hey 10000, there must be at least a really dumb warezkid, that is so pissed that his downloaded game doesn´t work or something, so he tries nearly anything to get it to work. what do you think?

Just a question, does anybody know if the producing company is willing to import the above product to Greece?

I'd be willing to pay thousands if it gets on Ebay or Amazon...

sorry buddy, U.S. only at the moment.

but they´re planning to release the product worldwide, but i´m not sure when they release it.

but wait, grumpy is from australia and he tested it. so where did you get it from? some sort of import or what? or do they already sell it over there?

@Kolle
Nah I just bought a bottle of cleaner and applied the starforce clean patch to it! Worked a treat.

None of the mentioned ways worked for me, but I finally managed to find a way to bypass SF. This *should* work for everyone.

1. Install the game as usual, apply any desired patch.
2. Download "Screen Antics: Johnny Castaway" and install it.

Now, thats for preparation. Here comes the important part:

3. Eject the SC:CT disc and put it in again - upside down (VERY important). You may hear a strange sound from your DVD-drive. Thats just the StarForce-protection thats moaning (knowing that you have found a way to kill it).
4. Wait for the screensaver to boot up, then carefully try to start the game without interrupting the screensaver (this part is hard, but easy does it. So does practise).
5. Tada! Now SC:CT runs fine, even with a backup disc. Only problem with this fix is that Sam will only be able to walk at the left. It's a bit strange, but you'll get a hang of it.

Important! Do NOT try this unless you are fully educated in how to run "Screen Antics: Johnny Castaway". If anyone tries this without having the proper knowledge, your house may burn down and/or you will get herpes. Several cases of pets with chicken pox have also been reported.

So in short - this is ONLY for advanced users!
