Splinter Cell 3 - Chaos Theroy (This Works!)

I reorganized what VH14a originally posted into an easier to understand, step-by-step format. Note: I have not tried it yet.

1.You need to open up star****v0.83beta (GERMAN VERSION)
2.and then select StarForce 3.4.63.2
3.then click on CD8 DEAKTIVIEREN
4.Then click on EINSTELUNGEN
5.Under "CDRoms befinden sich" select "Am sekundaren Kanal"
6.Under "Patch Type der Kanale" select "Super Agresiv"
7.Under "Ordner Daemon tools" select where you instaled the exe. file of the game(exa. c:/program files/splintercell chaos theory/)
8.click on ANVENDEN.(make sure that you have the proper install key)
9.now disable cd,node etc. with starforce nightmare.
10.mount up full image of the game in damon tools (not Mini image).
11.play the game. Injoy!


Make sure you change device parameters under daemon tools to the following
vender usb 2.0
Model dvd rom
revision 3.0

Maybe it will help someone.

yes but make sure it is american version and you patch the game to v1.2 or it will not work.

1) What is "starf uck" and where can I download it? (I'm having trouble finding the German 0.83 beta)
2) Where can I download (if I can download it) Starforce 3.4.63.2 ?
3) Is the method tried/installed from a cracked/downloaded image?

If someone could explain to me Thanks

2. starforce 3.4.63.2 is a setting in starf*ck
3. if you can get the crack for the game then you dont need (1) and downloaded images are illegal ;p

I tried to run starf*ck, but it reboots my computer. Is suppose that's not a normal thing...

yep it aint normal, though it depends what settings you activated/deactivated i guess, if you dont know what you're doing then i'd seriously recommend not using it, should have mentioned that earlier

Hi,

I`m still not able to run the game from an image.At least I screwed up 2 DVDs trying to burn the image from the orginal CD, I both times i got read errors.

When i finally managed it to burn the image and mounted in the deamon drive it still says that my CD-key does not fit to the CD thats in the drive, thats kinda strange coz it´s the serial from the orginal disk.....

Finally I think gamers will have wo wait till a working no-cd crack is released, does anyone have information when that could be?

On 99.9% of peoples systems you cannot. I've tried every possible method suggested everywhere. For some reason certain people can run it from an image, probably just because StarForce doesn't recognize some of thier hardware or something. So don't be upset, thier are very few people that can run it from an image.

Personally I do not think a crack will ever be released. Obviously, cracking StarForce is quite difficult. Why would crackers make a crack that requires a lot of hard work if it just becomes outdated with the next version of StarForce. And the main reason they won't make a crack is because they probably all know that the next version of Daemon Tools (v4) will be able to emulate StarForce. Why would they make a crack if they know a program that is almost finished will be able to emulate it?
