Does Anyone Know Of A Way Of Burning 2 Or More Games On A Single Disc Via A Menu ?

Does Anyone Know Of A Way Of Burning 2 Or More Games On A Single Disc Via A Menu ?

I remember a few games came to me in the old days of chipped PS1's, games that ran via a menu sometimes with as many as 5 games on them, all working but normally with their FMV's removed. The games I remember the most were Japanese that mostly never saw releases in the UK.

Can it be done on a PS2 and if so can someone tell me where I should be looking for the program or will the old programs used on the PS1 do the job and if so where can I get them so I can have a go myself.

I'm not trying to chop out FMV sequences as I wouldn't know where to look but it does seem a shame to use the best single layer DVD-r's to burn a game that just misses out going on a CDr by 50MB.

Terry Bogard is on a distinguished road
I looked into this when I started backing up my games and to be honest it's not worth your while. There is alot of fiddling around and for the sake of another DVD's and how cheap they are these days, I'd rather save myself alot of time and have a game for each disc.

If you are still interested though, do a Google search for multigame PS2 disc or something like that. Afterdawn forums usually have good info too.

Unless there is some sort of app that I don't know about that does this all for you, like for the Xbox and Gamecube?

Thanks for that Terry Bogard. I have searched the AfterDawn forums site going back a few years and found there is/was 2 multigame kits available but long since gone I fear plus 2 tutorials, 1 of which is here...

It can be done but it is fiddlly like you say. To me it is not about the discs really - I just thought I could give it a go - which I will!

If you or anyone else has any other good ideas or links I could try then I'd love to hear them.
