so i think i almost got the explot thing

fig'd out. i used the exploit compiler, made the disc, booted it, and it gives me a big box w/ the word config in it. i hit config it give me all the ps2 control buttons but im confused as to what to do next. prog the buttons to launch the assigned elfs i assume?how do i assign them though? any GOOD tuts on how to work this thing, they (tuts) are all very confusing to my dyslexic brain. i think im closer than ive been yet???

edit: btw--i thought i entered the hdl.elf during the whole compiler deal..pretty sure i did, but i dont see anything related to that in there

you should choose a button icon and press O, then browse to the location of hdl.elf and highlight it and press O again, select ok and exit the config menu.

if you are going to load the hdloader of the disk then you don't need the exploit thing or launchelf , just make a image from hdloader.elf and its system.cnf file + some dummy files and burn it on a cd.

yeah i tried that but for some reason it wont boot. but anywayz i fig'd out the launchelf prog, set it up to launch the elfs, but everytime it says "save failed" and everytime i reboot the launchelf disc i have to redo everything. what gives?
