Re-install Deamon and you will get the option to change the 2 files in question to any name you like, thus SF cant blacklist it because it looks for the defult name of the said files.

how do you guys get yours to work? cuz my copy of carbon.patch does not work at all.

Is it not the same as starforce nightmare and just enables you to disable ide channels?
