I have the same problems, u can try whatever u want, it won't work

Whell maybe it works the only problem is you need a mini-image or the full image with the right serial otherwise you get the message it is the wrong serial. with toca race driver 2 and GTR (also protected by starforce) there wasn't any problem with a mini-image + correct serial. When you get the message it can't find the disk you didn't disable your disk drives correct probably. (disable secundary ata when your cd/dvd drives are connected to this channel) starforce nightmare didn't work for me.
You may only do this to try the game and have to delete it in 24 hours

@ Kakarott : Do it work now?
when you want to disable just one drive do the following:
disable cd and nodes with sn
then enable Sc.Master.
Now you must have only one drive disabled!

Tried the same stuff as Kakarott, but it keeps asking for a serial which I don't have.

Now the last thing yust mount splinter cell image directly from MY COMPUTER now right click on a drive and select mount image!!
And DONT mount that image on a virtual drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dont do this in daemon tools cause it wont work!!

I tried this but then I get that box to input the serial. Or do I have the mount the mini-image?

No it says you need a full image
but without a serial you can´t play....
but I have a serial and this method don´t fot work for me

i have disabled both of my dvd devices, they are both connected on the secondery ide port and SN worked fine for me.

I had a full image and the mini image ...


still i want to know, whats with the sf drivers, is this important to kill them or let them alive? Cause if i kill them and want to start the game after it, he wants to reboot the pc to complete installing sf drivers.


edit later for after more tries ...

edit: i have disabled both dvds and tried with mini image in my one left virtual drive (made it over my computer, right click->mount image) and with full image. Still want the dvd in an other drive, but i dont have any other drives ... wtf!!!!!!!!
