Well, looks like this forum isn't very popular.. BTW
I was wrong, the chip is fine, but I had to connect the flash programmer directly to my LPT port *without* cable and press the reset port command in the loader menu, otherwise the Viper chip was not seen. I think there must be some problem with the flash programmer, but who cares now, the chip is working with Cobra 1.1 now. Cheers

Your best bet my friend is to check the forums @ www.maxconsole.net for GC questions. There is not many GC scene users here except myself that offer solutions, etc.
