Softmodded xbox's have a hard time playing this game. Conflicts with the BFM bios.
delete the caches in x, y, and z. Use the newest version of dvd2xbox to copy the disk to your HDD. delete default.xbe and rename the doa2.xbe (or doa1.xbe) to default.xbe. Then boot. If that fails, then there probably won't be a fix anytime soon.

Thanks for the suggestion, Quall.
I had an X, Y and Z drive when EvoX was my Dash, but I've since switched to XBMC and my X Y and Z drives are gone (dont show up in the FTP). Is there another place where the files could be cached?

Use boxplorer or dvd2xbox to remove the cache's. Yo uwill have to rename those files no matter what though.
