Swat 4 ( couple of questions)

When you scanned it with PID you scanned more than just the exe diddnt you ?. Did you scan the disks only or have you scanned the game dir once installed ?. When using PID you have to tell it to scan every different kind of format (dll,exe etc) (theres a drop down menu to do this in once you tell it to scan) and as far as i can tell the US is also protected same as UK (from googleing). If you own a bona fida shop bought and paid for version then my guess is your not using PID properly (all the features). Have you been able to scan for dll's or exe's etc ? Or havent you used that feature ? Try again with PID and if your still not getting the correct result (and its a shop retail product) post back here and ill have another look @ swat 4 for you and tell you exactly where the protection is ok. (as i cant remember off the top of my head).

PID detect SecuRom 5 on swat4.exe ,but dont detect on cd.
How to copy SWAT4 ?I cant use the crack.

How can't you backup SWAT4? There's a crack for this game. If you have a DVD writer refer to the CD2DVD conversion thread and there are instructions for SWAT4.

@ dederon Or simply back up both CD's using CD's. I diddnt bother with a CD to DVD conversion (even though my DVD RW is more than up to it ).
I dont understand why you can't back up Swat 4. What program have you attempted to back up swat 4 with and what happens when you attempt to back up swat 4 ?. Put simply your explanation isnt in depth enough. Post as much info as to why you cant back swat 4 up and then we will know where to point you. (To be honest though SecuRom 5 isnt that hard to do). Have you managed to back up both disks (100%) but are having trouble installing the game from back up or having trouble playing the game from back up ?. Has the back up you made been able to install ?. Answere these and anything else you deem to be relevent.

I am burn Swat 4 with Alcohol 120% (Securom *NEW v4.x\5.x), but when i start the game it say -"Please insert the original swat 4 cd".Please help!(crack dont work for me.).

Ok it sounds like you have made a working back up. (If game installs 100 % then its a working backup). Crack dont work for you ? Have you ever used a crack before ? (my guess is not). The crack thats hosted here @ GCW works fine (trust me). Its for v1.0 shop retail game but as far as im aware there isnt an update for the game anyway. All you have to do is simply do a full install of game (max install). Download the crack for swat 4 from GCW. Unzip it and replace the exe (will have pic of swat 4 on it once unzipped) with the exe from the original install location. = replace the exe for swat 4 with the cracked exe. If you have never used a crack before the use the search button and look up a thread named vice city because i did a step by setp on how to use a crack for nOoBs. (everything is the same even though its a diff game).

What do you mean exactly when you say the crack wont work for you ?. What error message (if any) do you get when trying to run the game. (you dont run the game from the crack by the way, you just use the normal shortcut etx to run game once the exe's have been changed). Let me know how you get on.

Ohh i just thought of something.. Is you copy of swat 4 backed up from an original shop paid for version of swat 4 or a downloaded or bought copy of it? I have asked you a few questions concerning your probs before but you havent answered them in depth enough. For me/anyone to help you its best you answere my questions. If you answere my questions i will continue to help. If you dont answere them then there is no further we can go with this.

when i open the installer and click install it says "insert swat4 disc 1". i tried with daemon tools from an iso file and also tried putting the game on cd's. when i opened setup from the disc 1 it worked. but the problem is in disc 2, it say"insert swat4 disc 2 then click ok" it doesn't work.

does anybody know what to do??!?
