Which CD are you scanning ? Only one of them is protected (cant remember 100% which one off the top of my head but i have a feeling its CD_1 . Once i backed it up i used the nocd straight away (to keep originals safe) so i dont remember which one is the play disk but thats the protected one). As for A-ray scanner i dont know. I dont use that one and id recommend you use PID (link here @ GCW).
