Like Optimummind I can't really see how you not owning a DVD-rom and the game using starforce...
Because without any DVD reader how are you gonna install the game? Play it? Use it in any way? How is Ubisoft to be blamed when you do not have the hardware required to use the disc? And a noDVD for this is most likely to take a while, if ever to be done.
