I'm guessing you mean you don't want to hook your HD to your computer each time, you would rather install games from your PS2. You get a much faster transfer rate installing games on your HD via PC, just make an image with whatever program you want, (.gi, .nrg, .iso, .bin etc...) and use the Tyler advertised program WINHIIP or similar program (HDL_dumb) I use a External HD Enclosure so I don't have to open up the PC case each time.

Thanx m8. wicked util. Put ten sample games on an they all work no probs.
I see from the readme file that there is seven different compatibility modes. Does anyone know of a site that lists what game to what compatibility mode as I can only find lists that say "do work", "dont work". or is the compatibility mode down to version of ps2, mod chip used, hdd used etc. Regards
