rasnarfire, I still don't think giving links to SF-KEYS is allowed either. If you own the game then there is NO NEED to give out any key/serial as you will already have a key/serial that comes with the game. If a mini-image is released for a game, then using the key/serial that came with your game should be used to get the game working if it needs one.

The only reason a CD-KEY/SERIAL/SF-KEY would be posted is if someone does not own an ORIGINAL CD/DVD and needs them to get their copy working!

If you are still unsure about posting SF-KEYS, go here:

http://fileforums.com/showgroups.php?

then use the PM facility to contact one of the MODS for the PC GAMES forum and ask them for clarification on the rules!

Here is a mod and his opinion:

Making the board rules multilingual would break board rule #5 !!!
(FileForums are English-Only.) ...my opinion...

Posting links to SF-Keys aren't allowed. In my opinion there's also no need to hold all the mini-images on GCW, because each one who has the original cd, can make his own mini-image, using the tutorial from the "Guides & Tutorial" sticky post. ...my opinion...

(Don't know what the other mods opinion is.)

On breaking rule #5, if people could read the board rules in their own language (whilst making the point that all posts are made in English), maybe we wouldn't get so many people breaking the rules because their English isn't that good that they don't read them!

But, how many languages to cater for, would anyone actually bother reading these rules, would it make a difference etc, etc!

Perhaps you just like smacking down/banning people

Hm, what should i say to this.
1. Itīs right that everyone who has the original can make an own mini-image, but if the drive is bad (like my one) and make a senceless curve the game does not start. Especially the newer version of Starforce proofing very exactly, if the data position messuring is correct. Scrapland and Battlestrike mini-images can be produces only by some people with good drives and iīm happy to get this files from them to play without CD.

2. Itīs wrong to think that all mini-images work with every SF-key. The SF-Key is a result of the physical structure of the data on CD and itīs never the same. So only the self-made mini-image run with the own SF-key. You can try to download a mini-image(for example GTR) somewhere and use your own SF-key from GTR. You will see it wonīt work. That is the only reason where the key is included in the mini-images. Itīs senceless to offer a mini-image without the key. BTW: Itīs the same with a crack. I can also say, every person who has the original need no crack?!
