Ok, thats exactly my problem, after several tries to get the Sacred up and running and now 1.8.146

But dont know how to solve it?

the latest release for all versions U DONT NEED TO REPLACE any SACRED.EXE to SACRED.ORG...
IT IS FOR ALL VERSIONS which means :
1- install the game
2-update the game to 1.8**********
3- extract safak's crack files (all of them) (i.e : caf.dll + sacred.exe + sacred.org)
4- copy the 3 files over the sacred directory.
5- delete the sacred.exe from chklst
6- play!
voila
it works!
i tried all the other PREVIOUS cracks doing a lot of **** like changing sacred.exe to sacred org....blaj blah...and IT DIDNT WORK
UNTIL safak's crack done the magic!

But... the version shown is 1.8.146, is that OK or something is wrong?

And one peculiarity: If I try the german crack on my eng version of Sacred everything works but version displayed is 2.8.146. What that mean. Is that better than 1.8.146 or both version numbers are errors.

i think every thing will be fine as this is the only crack *I THINK* that works well for all versions.

and about the german version .....it is really strange stating 2.8.146 !
i think this is a conflict or something?
any way start playing the game and if any thing happened just tell us

i plaied for some time but no error detected.

U have done everything OK but in addition you must delete the "sacred.exe" line in the file "chkfiles.txt" under your Sacred directory. And than thing might go well.

that thing not going vell,because i did that several times and i got same massage every time

i noted that one of my spell don't work
(battle mage -Petrification for now )

One more tip: Try deleting "chkfiles.txt" utterly. Backup first

no files were chacked but
v 1.8.146 is still standing
can't use Petrification
character is too slow but i think that is not a bag...
maybe problem lies in my sacred installation
or my language version ( i patched with eng exe although there is US folder in scripts folder ) who will know???

so that means that u actualy got the game to work and enter the world with out having problems??! COZ the only way u can know ur character is too slow IS by starting the game. and if this happened so what is the problem? OR can we ask it in a diffrent way: what is ur PC spec? cpu,ram,vga?

my game worked every time when i cracked but the version is not corect (1.8.146 insted of 1.8.26 )
and petrification (battle mage spell) do not work

cpu barton 2500
ram (ddr) 512 Mb
GeForce FX 5200
hdd 80Gb

i suggest u:
1- uninstall the game and then remove any strings from the registry related to sacred (but backup ur registry first)
2- after that install the game and install the patch (i have "sacred_eng_1.8.2.6_full " patch
3- extract Safak's crack to ur game directory (all the 3 files caf.dll ,sacred.exe ,sacred.org)
4- delete sacred.exe from the chklist
5- play!
it suppose to work "specially after cleaning the registry from any strings of sacred"

did all of this and version is still 1.8.146
i can start game ,new caracter,old save
but patrification works only when i export character and start new game or it works only on low-level foes , i don't know (there are no changes in fixlis at official sacred site ).

petrification deffinitly works on lower level oponents
