I actually can't believe I'm answering this question, but it must be the Baily's in my Joe.

A buffer underun, is the most hated and despised word in a rippers vocabulary. It is the word that no one can stand to see. It basically means that your HDD can't keep up with your CD-R... The possible causes are: Totally fragmented HD. HD errors. Slow HD speed. Follow the directions in the earlier post. If that doesn't help at all, I would uninstall DJ, and reinstall it... And if you are running NT4, get the latest service pack..
