In case you didn't fully understand what he said, here's another way of explaining it.

The No-CD file and your game's original .exe file will have the same name. All you have to is copy the no-cd.exe file over your game's original .exe file.

Before you overwrite your original .exe file, though, it's a good idea to backup your original .exe to a different folder.

To play the game, just double-click the no-cd file.

99.9% of the time you can still use the original desktop icon to start the game. Especially if the Nocd exe has the same name and you overwrite the original with the cracked one.
But to 'Optimummind', you did do a far better job at explaining what to do than the 'One and Only Knothead' did.
