Just to be clear. There is NO WAY TO BACK UP Gran Turismo 4 whether it be via disc or hdd. Just cant do it, yet.

i heard D/l writes wont even copy it cuase the 2nd layer on the disk is called PTP and only high $$ buners equment burns that style

Yup.
Actually the only way you can use it off the hdd is if you flatten the disc and put it on your hdd via your pc. Then you will need your original disc in the ps2 tray when loading the game via hdloader. Supposedly this only speed up certain menu loadings but most of the game is still loaded off the actual disc in the tray. Not exactly worth all the effort. Tyler!
