Somebody recommended Seagate over Maxtor because it's quieter and more reliable. The only concern I have for Seagate is that I heard it doesn't work with some of the newer network. I was thinking of getting ST3200822A, would it work? I checked out the compatibility list, and most people said it worked although one person said it didn't.

Will work as a 186gb hard drive if you use HD Loader CD v3 if not it will be a 127gb hard drive. (Quoted from the website). I think you still have to patch the HD for it to detect the space.
