I have downloaded the "restorelasterror fixer" by snd. But I dont know, which files I should patch. Patching the sacred files doesnt help und I cant patch the kernel32.dll, because windows is always using it.

Hmm, I changed restorelasterror in setlasterror, but I still can´t play the game. Still the same error...

Yep, that tool doesnt work.

I have patched almost every sacred file and even patched the kernel32.dll. Still cant play without cd. And I dont think, that there will be another crack for all the poor windows 2000 users

I have the same problem. Version still show 1.8.146. Because in the updating process to 1.8.26 (I delete sacred.exe line in the chksum.txt), it doesn't update sacred.exe. So sacred.exe still the old version.
Does anyone have sacred.exe for english/international version 1.8.26?
