silvermachine is on a distinguished road
I have connected via a 56k modem it took about 4 attempts and about 4hours altogther, I have a 3.06 processor 1024 of ram and a radeon 9600 pro it was worth the time spent but as a helpline person told me they have over complicated the system and did not think about people with dial up, i was told that thousands of people are complaining about not being able to download the last percent of the update that they have been overloaded, the other problem is that nothing happens on the screen while the update is in progress that you cannot tell if its doing anything so most people cancel the update thinking it has locked up, hope this answers some of your concerns.
