Yeah like sawdust said you might want to try adjusting the pots on the laser to increase its power, but only attempt this if you have an ohm meter.

Damn...
I tried to adjust the potis but iīve got no chance to run DVDīs =( .. So does anybody know a site, which is developing lasers to austria .. it might should be cheap  THX
