Like I said, most likely your TV only supports normal NTSC. The PAL DC uses PAL60, which is NTSC timing with PAL colour system.

You'll need to use Action Replay/Gameshark/Codebreaker to boot in real NTSC mode.

firstly, any idea where i might buy any of those, and second, should a chip work?
