maxtor 120 drives
Im going for a new drive but being as shallow as I am, what is the difference between s-ata and p-ata, i am looking at this drive below.
120Gb Maxtor Plus 9 ATA-133 (7200rpm,8MB) - PATA great value for money but will it work cheers

At a guess ..
S-ata ( serial ) - These are the new style drives, and need a modern motherboard, adaptor to work with. P-ata ( parallel ) - This is the IDE drive we are used to .. So in answer to your question, yes Quote:
