I installed the game, but when starting up, I get an engine error: Failed to lock vertex bugger ...

Anyone know what this is or how to help me?

i put the crack into the game folder along with the dll file but when i run the game my monitor blacks out and gives me an "an out of range" message. i can hear the game music in the background though as it loads up, just cant see anything cause of the monitor problem. anyone have any ideas.

Go to the Run box under after clicking the Start button on Windows. Type dxdiag.exe and when it comes up, go to More Help and click Override. When that pops up, type in a refresh rate your monitor can handle (like 60) and lock that in.

The out of range thing happens because the game tries to jump to some ****tastic refresh rate. The above will fix that.

i have the same problem. Only not at the beginning, but when i want to go from Downtown to santa Monica. Did you solve it? Or does anyone knows what the problem might have to with?

You must unlock your vertex bugger before to run the game. If it's already locked, the game cannot lock it. Under Windows XP, vertex buggers must always stay unlocked.

Can anyone tell me please from where can i download a crack for Vampire the bloodline? I have a problem with that game: when I try to play the game (cd 1 inserted in cd-rom) I receive the message (after aprox. 1 minute) to eject and reinsert the cd-1. I think that is a crack problem...
