Yes, I've tried doing this, before and after disabling the drives, but neither way seems to make any difference. The instructions in this thread seem to say press patch first!
The tool doesn't need service pack two does it? I've got two installations of XP pro on the C and D drives one with and one without SP2. Is it possible for starforce to read across to the unactivated installation on the other drive as Starf... doesn't seem to be able to hide the drives at all on the non SP2 installation? Thanks for ideas...
