similar to riteks????

hey i need some discs soon, are there any that are similar to the quality of ritek discs that i can buy at my local store?(when i say quality i mean discs that work as close to 100% of the time as possible, and discs that dont burn out the laser on the ps2, i have a v12 slim and i want the laser to last as long as possible or forever if it can) are verbatims any good? thanks for any help
also is it possible to avoid the laser problem if i use the right discs, or is it just inevidable?

Ah, did you not read my post? Verbatims are at least as good as Ritek and usually quite a bit better. Taiyo Yudens are even better than that.

Laser wear is inevidable. Using quality media will prolong its life compaired to the cheap junk like Princo's.
