Ok I was curious about this so I burned a copy of the original hd loader.I followed directions for this using clone cd and put settings exact as stated. I burned it to a verbatim cd-r but when I put it in the ps2 the hd loader screen comes up but then hangs there. It doesn't go to the menu for hd loader at all. My deck is a v9 with dms3. Any ideas why this is not working?

Put the game into dvd reader. When you open clonecd select read, select the cd reader and select next. You should then see a screen that shows 4 different disc. A audio cd, a data cd, Game cd and multimedia audio cd. Highlight Game cd and right click. You should see, New, Edit and Copy. Select edit and load the above settings. If you dont see it then i dont know whats up. I got versions 4.1.01 and 5.0.4.5. These settings come up on both versions and my HDloader backup loads everytime and its burned on a crappy Fuji cd-r

Thanks for the guidance.

I have now been able to create the image on the hardrive. NOW, when I try to write the image it says "image.sub does not match image.img" Go figure.

What does that big L that I see on my forehead when I look in the mirror mean?
