MR Krondike i dont know if you own the web o just like, 13 post today , 5 yesterday so many before ...etc....and all the same , telling people off.
I dont get it , The internet sould be free speech.. any body could say whats belives , giving respect if respet people belives..etc..
My point, is let people do. look, if not how come we get a world of diferent colors that it what it makes so wonderfull ?¿?, i reallly would like that stop no sense post every were and try to help or stop doing it so. For every body else ...how can we fix the units ?¿

THE EXPLOSION IS CAUSED by simply Copying every file from pc to another pc...

the protection <LOTRBFMe.dat> is checked by the main exe and compare with the machine ID. if not the same.. BOOM!

you actually need to run the setup file from the original ea installation...

if you want a simple fix.. you need to make a setup (installation) for your self...a tiny one if you want A CD Version....

People tend to copy paste file from pc to another pc... LOTRBFME doesnt allow it...

you need the installation file...

If you want a mini-setup ..

create one..

edit commonfile and remove everything from compressed.zip ...

I successfully created a DVD to CD convert using ea's SETUP.. just trick the installer...

example: edit common_filelist.txt
decompress all files from compressed.zip
and zip them again in 650 mb seperate all files
add everything per cd...

you just need to make sure you end up at disc 1 during the final installation to gain the .dat

be creative in making the compressed.zip

never forget, you need all the files from the original dvd... you should not miss one... you can add though... If you want to add the no/cd fixed... you can add a line...

maybe someone here can elaborate this.. I can't explain it well.. though I created a successful dvd to cd.... with working no cd... + protection id... I am not good at explaining in text

i didnt mean to tell off any body.
I read so many post , from here to there to many diferent things and i agreed with you that some people just post without read before post.
Thats all about post, people post, i know will be anoying but things come be done better as any other thing in live.
Before i post any were, i use the search on the forum and if come out things then i read.
What i mean that people just dont say help because so, we are noobies and we dont know how thing are done, but i find unsual that a gay post 15 post a day telling people off, will be better if you have to read the post move to where it has been posted ? or some thin similar.
