Unfortuantely, due to the country regions, i can only use the australian image, of which i can only find the ger, ita, usa, etc versions, so i need to create an australian mini image from my australian version

If you have updated to 1.2, you can use ANY existing mini-image. Just edit the "SKU" value in your registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Codemasters\Race Driver 2]
"SKU"="GER" or "SKU"="EUR" or "SKU"="USA"

Choice the value of the mini-image you are using by looking on the mounted disk for a file named rd2_ger or rd2_eur or rd2_usa.

I have installed the game from an US DVD and I use a mini-image of a german CD. It works !

THANK YOU FOR TIP!!!, I want to ask, which crack do you use? NCRYSO?? Or do you mount german mini image and that´s all??

I know, but I have US DVD version and I can´t run it. I read all instruction and tutorials. Result = nothing. Probably I´m totaly worthless.

Hi everyone !

It's the same prb for me.

I've tried for hours to run toca 2 and it's really hard, i think.

I really hope someone will make a 'clear' tuto on it ! A tutorial that would work for EVERYBODY, i mean. Because, when you surf on different forums, you can see there are many (too many) ways to try to make this game work, with no cd off course.

I've already try different mini image versions, starforce clear, starforce F***k and so on... Nothing works.

To all those people who find it so hard to play RD2 using a crack or mini image, and to all those people who just want to play it so badly then just use the original Disc!! Surely to use one disc to play such a top game is not asking to much! I guess I am one of the fortunate ones who can actually do this!! Less hassles thats for sure.

Utilise mon truc du SKU dans le registre (voir plus haut) avec StarFock 0.81 et une mini-image. Ca marche !

I use StarFock 0.81 and the german mini-image. That works perfectly.
