I was under the impression that version 5 and newer would boot dvd+r but it is down to yr laser at the end of the day. The advice given here is for ps2 games ( and any dvd movie backup you intend to play on yr ps2) should be burned onto a ritek dye based dvd-r and nothing else....if you want your ps2 laser to work for more than a few months. doesn't matter whos ps2 will run what media. stick to dvd-r and ritek.

thanks for the advice i allways use ritek -r disks and never had a problem at all just someone asked me can you use +r for games as he tried it and they didnt work but his dvd backups work fine

(hang over in progress)
