Eh, like I said I don't really know the specs of the Apple. But if these guys say it's alright, then go for it! Though I'd either fix or get a new PS2 first...

I agree with bighap. If it gives disc read errors with originals then it probably wont read dvd-r media and isnt worth modding. Sell it and buy a newer console to install the mod in or purchase a premodded console.
