The tool is now 2 weeks old and working fine. All cd/dvd drives should be on secondary ide and put a disc in the drives. No matter what for a disc, it makes the rescan easier and safer unless you want to reboot.
Btw you can mount the mini images of starforce games in daemon or alcohol. No difference.

well in the .nfo that comes with it it says the prog was released on nov 22... so star**** claims to be able to "****" starforce 3.4.63.xxx while the fall only uses 3.4.62, so, should it work? do you use aggressive method or do you even use the batch that deactives the whole ide cable?

i use cd drives on the both ide cables that are on my mainboard, my hd's are hanging at a seperate pci ide controller. i am mounting the image of the disc 1 of the game with daemon, i created it with alcohol with starforce profile, 1x dpm measure. i deactivate primary and secondary ide with agressive option, and when trying to patch with star**** he says "found 2 drivers, patched 0", what is that?

the game refuses to work with the message that the entered key is not correct. what should i do now?

another problem is that there are no settings if you got drives at primary AND secondary, cause i got three optical drives. the ini files are only either for primary or secondary.

can you help me? do i need a real mini image like the ones you can download for some games or should a real image also do? thanks.

The file, when executed, is recognized by McAfee to be a Trojan: PWS-Ilg.dr (http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_130220.htm)

So be careful!

There is currently not much to be found on PWS-Ilg.dr (PWS = Password Stealer) as it was detected 4 days ago and it has been given a low risk.

McAfee seems to be to only one who has a "fix" for it!

Also the site "gameplusplus.com", where the file is located, looks very suspicious... with only 1 line of text:

A free set utility of anti starforce. download it.

Please change the text on your main page!!!

Currently a tool called AntiStarForce has been released on a dummy website, which looks to be a TROJAN/VIRUS!
When executed it extracts a few files, including antistarforce.exe, which is being detected by McAfee as a TROJAN called: PWS-Ilg.dr
Only the person who packed the tool into a setup added a trojan, but the tool is real, its called STAR F U C K, and it is also contained there in a subfolder and seems to work for many people. So as long you do not run antistarforce.exe after installing it, there will be no problem.[/

The tool here is mentiones is called "Star****er". It were "released" on November 22th, as someone posted above, and only will be available "Clean" on some web sites, including mine (CdSTEam).

In a few days will be fully support in spanish, english, german or russian.

In a few days too will be available a new version of that tool, with improved anti-blacklisting code.

TIP: There is only four .bat for hiding primary or secondary IDE drives (normal and agressive) and Star****.exe which runs Protection patcher.

TIP#2: This tool is totally free and legal, cause it does not modify anything from the game or the starforce engine itself. It just hides IDE drives to Win, and in consecuence, to Starforce. No mistery here.
