those instructions about changing the key permissions do not work. I have tried DT 347 and A120 (1.9.2) to mount the images, and i have burned with A120... none of it works...

They work with mounting. Every Securom is bypassed with this at the moment. Even with older securom new games like battlefront or so.

Should no longer work, when a new version comes out.

Use latest alcohol.
turn on every emulation.
read the disc at slowest speed with securom new 5.
mount them in alcohol.
use the regedit from above and play.

I am using A120 1.9.2 1705.
I mounted the image, installed the game, made sure all emulations were on in A120, completed the regedit, and i still get error "please place your original Pirates! CD ...."

Er, okay, changing registry entries isn't a problem for me...but...

With what do I rip the DVD image so that the SecuROM sectors are preserved?
