These packages are older than the torrent one. The readme is bad copy of the old website and is almost unreadable. Please use the torrent link instead.

Edit: And you don't have to register anything to download it. Simply use a BitTorrent downloader like Azureus (free software)

all hl2.exe's have a size of 86.088 Bytes.

I tryed the torrent version, but there is still the same Error.
When I start hl2.exe it wants filesystem_stdio.dll

Any Ideas?

You have to start "hijack_hl2.exe" !!!

anonym001: What version of Windows do you use? Is there any other error displayed?

GLH: I asked him to run it to ensure it was not corrupted
