YES YOU CAN TRANSFER....IF YOU REMOVE THE ORIGINAL FROM YOUR PC........YOU CAN GET ALL THIS INFO FROM THE VALVE WEBSITE.

TRICHOMEZ, it says in www.play.com *you need access to the internet to be able to play this game* so im guessing theres no way of playing it without having to activate it through the internet.
