Try changing the fuse if you want but I had one like this about a year ago (It was a jap saturn).

Turned out to simply be the age of the console as the solder joints had become dry in a couple of places.

If that doesn't work then just pick another one up on ebay, generally speaking you can pick one up in good condition for around £10 to £20!
