I think cracks are made by people who release pirate copies of a game.

I am pretty sure that the kind folks here at GamecopyWorld are mostly into assisting the 'Crack' community and helping morons like myself be able to find cracks in a more convenient way. But, generalizing the great people who make these NOCD patches as 'pirates' is unnecessary. And, a little judgemental for one who, it can be assumed, uses these cracks. These are a great group of folks. I would never accuse them of doing anything illegal. Or,accuse GameCopyWorld of even taking part in something illegal. They are above that. And, i can only hope, everyone who uses the patches are above that as well. Though, with the use of a little common sense, that is extremely doubtful. "Support your Software Developers! If they got no money, we got no game!" Don't pirate! Also, for being in the wrong place, i sure got a very nice and very fast answer to my question. VIVA GAMECOPYWORLD!

ok I should have said it in a different way
If you look at the different "releasers" of the crack you are gonna see things like Deviance and Money. Now these are pirate-copy-groups that release pirate ISOs that include the cracks in an extra folder on the CD.
How you use the cracks is entirely a different issue.
Warmongers are one reason that we have semi-automatic pistols. Use that pistol for self-defence or use it for robbing the local mini-mart.
I'm sure there's a minority of crack-makers (Hi CDKILLER) who arent related to the pirate scene.
I respect the pirate-groups the same way I respect weapon-makers.
It's the pirates themselves and the gun-abusers I don't respect.
