sorry new to this...do you mean recheck all the wires or how i put the backup in the ps2?

I believe the only pins needed for PSX and dvd backups are pins SCEX, GND and reset. (Someone correct me if i am wrong). I have seen problems like this before in which Movie's and PSX backups work but nothing else. usually its a bad solder point.

AAHHHH. found that one of the wires was wrong, changed it. Now i can't get a signal to the tv. Is this something else that i have done wrong?

lol yeah i would say so
. Go eat some bananas ( they steady the hands) and recheck everything for bridges and solder splashes.
