I believe as long as the privilege is still legal (depending where you live) to backup cd/dvd you own, there is nothing wrong with the method you use in which to do so. I also believe that if backing up an original was that easy to just buy one of these standalone easy methods, everyone here would already have one. This is why I said to post the reviews. Its good to keep an open mind but its even better to use that same mind openly. I make decisions based on facts vs theory. In theory this would be an awesome development, however there are not enough facts to support a decision to buy one at this point.
