Is burning my games at 12x the reason I am having so many problems?

Hi, I just had a thought. The 2nd game I every burned, or the game my friend burned for me was burned at 1x because he had the trial version of Disk Juggler at the time. It was JetGrindRadio, and I never had any problems with the game, no slo mo, I COULD use gameshark with it, and everything else worked fine too. But that is what brings me to this question, if I re burn Record of lodas war at 1x do you think this will solve my gameshark problem? Or does this have nothing to do with it? Please let me know, thanks.
