First of all, if you had any idea of the Warhammer 40k unniverse, ud find out it exists from waaaaaaaaaay b4 starcraft and warcraft so in any case, they got the idea from them, but why lie to ourselvs it all comes from the lord of the rings books, aniways, bout the orks, the only reason u say they shouldnt be there its because u see them as a mithological creature, therefor ancient time, whilst in the W40k unniverse its simply an alien race, why not? in fact it makes more sense.

The units might not be balanced but the armies are. Yes orks suck but the big thing compensates, yes eldar infantry are weak, but in masses they will beat the enemy with their weaponry, difference is that orks and eldar are unbalanced armies, and marines and chaos (which are essentially dark marines) are balanced, but in the end, if we were to give points of strenght and bla bla bla rpg style, all 4 armies are balanced.

The resource system is designed precisely so the player has to get out of his base to capture strat points to get em, once you catch one, well just build defences or/and another base to defend it, and yes there might be unlimited but it compensates with there being a 20 infantry limit and 20 vehicle limit so you cant build big armies, so it makes it all about strategy, right unit at the right place at the right moment, which makes it a lot better strategy game than many others.

The point of the voices, the eldar speak like that because the whole point is that the computer is "translating" their language, and once translated it just sounds like that, according to the warhammer books and codex.

And your last paragraph, how can u say that when ur in the tottally wrong part of the forum? you've posted this thread in the pcgames cracking forum ¬¬

Ok Luciel, maybe I really don't know the WH universe that good, but that doesn't mean that you can say those things. I wrote that stuff becouse thats my opinion, so dont flame me becouse I think other ways then you. My strategy is no topic! I play as I please, so leave that alone. I know that my "bleed them dry and strike" tactic is no use here, I recognized right after the first skirmish game. So what?
And for the sounds: It is translated, I know that(Im not that noob gddamit!)
but it gotta sound a little bit better isn't it? How about StarCraft? Does the Protoss have a "I'm-speaking-from-a-tin-can" voice? Of course not! Relic should have spend some time with the voice editing.
And yes, there is a unit cap. But that 20 unit comes constantly over and over again, and make ash from my base! That's the point! We can fight forever if ther's an unimited resource!

And finally for the thread posting: really few people reads the off topic threads, so I posted it in a popular forum. Is that a big sin?

Hey caml down mate, i wasnt flaming ur thread, was just posting my oppinion and about the thread, its the rules and about the eldar voice i disagree i think its cooler like that :P altho it does ssound rather weird, and i dont critizise ur strategy as i use it all the time, i like the old "fortress" mode if u know what i mean :P, fancy a game sometime? people online on the game are way to good for me : /

Hell no, the Terminators are way over balanced, I wiped out most enemies with about 3 squads of Terminators backup up with the plasma tanks (forget names and had to re-install OS so can't check).

The Terminators are as hard as nails and plough through anything.

Terminators "normaly" in WH40k tabletop game Are "hard as nails"

Yeah, terminators are though, but not that hard to beat. Take some chaos marines, and a pair of demons, then the terminators should fall like leaves in autumn The real though thing is the orc's superunit, that transporter beast. Now thats a hard to beat sonofabiach. It rumbles thruogh almost everything without taking a single hit. I had to geather all my forces to take down that thing
