Red face battlefield vietnam

I have my screen res on desktop set to 1152,864 and when i play BF vietnam
the main page is set so big i cant see the option text properly most of it is off to the left of my screen,
i set the video option to same res as my desktop but this doesnt change the main page it only changes game play

Can anyone help me ?

Sorry if it is a really simple problem and easy to sort but im abit simple

PS sorry if this question doesnt go with this forum

i take it your using widescreen? maybe the game has trouble coping with widescreen res, also it might be using same res as desktop but not same refresh rate wich can screw it up.

no not widescreen, it would seem the main page is set to 800,600 res and unless i set my desktop to this res before i start the game then the text is too big and off the screen

All the money we spend buying games and trying to get the best computers to play them expensive graphics cards and processors etc
and they set it to 800,600 me thinks we waste our money and time

how about instead of setting ur desktop to that weird resolution u set it to 1024x768 or 1280x1024? they are the most common res now a days.

Ever tryed adjusting your Monitor ?
They change for every Refreshement rate there is.
