I dont think what you are asking is entirely legal! Even though you are allowed to backup your original discs you can still only install it onto one machine at a time! The EULA says something about this. You really need 2 purchased copies of the same game! sorry.

Ah.....I see!
 I was hopeing that because I'd already bought the original I could back it up and as long as it was used by myself and not passed on/sold to anyone it might be ok....but if that's the case then that's the case... Worth asking about though.... Thanks!

Apart from what you might have been suggesting, you can still backup the CDs for your own personal use using Alcohol 120% (_http://www.alcohol-soft.com) and simply selecting the copy protection from the list given within the program
