Hi guys. I'm the one that wants to play the demo. I dont want to mod it cuz its only one game that i want to play. All i want to know is what other discs i can use as a boot disc? thats all i want to know.

I'd go without the demo because eventually, you're gonna f*** the machine with that slide card... Wrecking a machine for a DEMO of all things ain't good is it...

hey guys, I'm talkin to him pretty much every day and trust me, it's worth it to him. He's absolutely obsessed with DMC3. And anyway, I used to swap my PS2 and it worked for over a year before that ps2 was stolen so I know he won't break his system playing one game for a little while (DMC3 isn't that far around the corner)
Basically, if it's a mistake that he's not getting a mod, or swapping, or whatever, let him make it himself. Sometimes you need to make mistakes first to do the "right thing" anyway. The advice has been sound and I agree with you all, but that's me, not him, he's already decided on what he's gonna do, now he just needs a little help to make it work. That's why we've posted, to get that help. All he wants to know is How do you do the swap trick on a Version 7 PS2? Does anyone know?

He will probably have to make a backup of the original demo, apply a PAL to NTSC patch to the backup and purchase the Swap Magic disc, after all this he will still have to do the slide card tray eject to get it to load.None of us here at FF agree with the Swap magic and slide card method. We have advised you not to do it. If you still choose to do so and have problems afterwards then direct the questions to the forums at www.ps2ownz.com
