I've used some of the Ritek based DVD9, and my V7 plays them perfectly fine with no excessive noise at all

ye i found the v7s play them fine but my v9 died after 2 weeks

You're s***ting me right? I just got V10 with Maxtrix 4 months ago and IF this is true with DL Discs then it's cause some problems..
