Anyone tried a Phoneline Yet??

I will be attempting to make a connection between my DC and PC this weekedn with a Phone line, because i don;t have the $60 for a BBA right now and i don;t have 24hrs for the Serial cable. so my question is, has anyone tried this?? if so please let me know so that I might be able to get it faster or give up on it, thanks.

The serial Cable would be faster. That modem is only rated for 56.6 kilobits per second. The cable goes at 115.2 kilobits per second.
