Just a thought

Just a thought but what is level of lighting in the room you are playing in? Is it totally dark or is it daytime and very sunny. Maybe you should try dimming the light in the room. Or maybe you have a lamp that is on and is placed too close to the tv? I hope this helps. Blast a few baddies for me.

Unfortunately the range did not change appreciably between daytime and a completely dark (outside of the TV) room at night. I am also using a CRT television, so that's not it.

The brand of the gun I purchased is the Osram X-Shooter. It's great gun in every aspect EXCEPT range/accuracy. It has a PS1/PS2 switch, D-Pad, auto-fire, auto-reload, recoil, etc.
