Just to be safe, just dont loan them out period and you will have no worries!
If you really want to let them check them out and they are of your own creation, the risk is yours to take. Remember that once the temptation to copy it sets in, there will be only one outcome and thats not to hard to figure out what will happen. Carefull decisions require carefull thought.
