Read my reply again...I specifically stated that it can take up to 12 hours or more and you will get thousands of error messages

If you open and minimize Alcohol, then run and exit the game and then use Alcohol to read the CD, the error messages will speed past in a couple of seconds.

This works for all Safedisk protected games.

Pretty sure it was covered in one of the backup guides, but its been awhile since I've read them.

I find when backing up my Safedisc games that the first 4-5% takes about 15 minutes the rest only takes approx 5 minutes tops! And yes that is a very sweet tip

Use fast SafeDisc backup it takes about 3-4 minute to read the hole cd include the SafeDisc protection sectors, on a 40X reader...with alcohol... (maybe even less of minutes)
