There is no answering this question as you have not specified the amount of time it took for the 6 men to dig the 6 holes, nor the depth of any given hole. Therefore 1 man could actually take as long as he wants to dig a 1/2 hole.

In a sence if it takes 6 men to dig 6 holes, 1 man can not dig half a hole at all, cause it takes 6 men!

Just like the question stated below can be misleading as you have to read it carefully.
There is a tub of water and 5 apples are in the tub.
If you take 3 apples out of the tub, what do you have?
You would have 3 cause the question is asking what you have, not what is left in the tub!

Ah! I see the topic but the question has been flawwed... Either that or it was intentionally left out to make one believe it was 6 days when in fact it was left out on purpose to see if we would catch on to it.

In regard to the 6 day part, 3days does make sence!
